El fin de semana pasado estuve en Sonoma, una región a una hora de San Francisco. El paisaje me recordó a algunas zonas de España, pues había montañas y llanuras.
Last weekend I was in Sonoma, a region about an hour from San Francisco. The landscape reminded me of some areas in Spain, as there were mountains and plains.
Cuando voy a un sitio nuevo, me gusta leer sobre la historia. En 1820 aproximadamente los españoles llegaron. No hay mucha información sobre los pueblos que habitaban la zona antes de esa fecha. Eso son solo 200 años. En Europa existen documentos escritos desde el siglo III a.C. Por eso quiero hacer dos newsletters dedicadas a la historia. Espero que te gusten.
When I visit a new place, I like to read about its history. Around 1820, the Spanish arrived. There isn’t much information about the peoples who lived in the area before that date. That’s only about 200 years ago. In Europe, there are written documents dating back to the 3rd century BC. That’s why I want to create two newsletters dedicated to history. I hope you enjoy them.
