Una reflexión relacionada con la expresión “Hacerse rico”.

Como te imaginas, el pasado viernes no gané la lotería; no me hice rica de la noche a la mañana. “Al menos tenemos salud” es el comentario más repetido cuando los españoles descubren que no han ganado El Gordo.

A reflection related to the expression "Getting rich."

As you can imagine, last Friday I didn’t win the lottery; I didn’t get rich overnight. "At least we have our health" is the most common comment Spaniards make when they realize they haven’t won El Gordo.

Y, aunque es verdad, yo añadiría algo más:

“tengo salud y tengo una actitud positiva hacia la vida”.

La felicidad no es lo que te pasa, sino la actitud que tienes hacia lo que te pasa. Y ver siempre el lado positivo no es fácil. Yo tengo días negativos, como todo el mundo. Pero por lo general, siempre veo el lado bueno a todo. Desde que corro, me cuesta mucho menos ver el lado positivo a cualquier situación. También desde que corro vivo momentos de pura felicidad y superación personal como el de esta foto:

And while it’s true, I would add something else: "I have my health, and I have a positive attitude toward life."

Happiness isn’t about what happens to you but about the attitude you have toward what happens. Seeing the positive side isn’t always easy. I have my down moments, like everyone else. But generally, I always try to see the bright side of everything. Since I started running, it's much easier for me to see the positive side of any situation. Also, since I started running, I experience moments of pure happiness and personal growth, like the one in this photo:
