Agosto es el mes de vacaciones por excelencia. Muchas personas dejan las ciudades, y lugares como Madrid se vacían porque sus habitantes se van a la playa o al pueblo. En el mapa verás que Madrid aparecen en rojo, como una aria muy visitada, pero en realidad es visitada por turistas extranjeros, no españoles que viven en Madrid o en el centro de la península no pasan el verano en esta ciudad porque hace demasiado calor.
August is *the* holiday month in Spain. Many people leave the cities, and places like Madrid empty out as their residents head to the beach or to their hometowns in the countryside.
