What makes Spanish special 🥘 💃🏻
You could be learning French or Chinese, but you chose Spanish and you should know as soon as possible why this language is INCREDIBLE.
Normally I’ll be sharing the 3-2-1 Spanish! Newsletter, where you will learn 3 new words, 2 expressions in Spanish and 1 thing about me. However, I wanted the first article on this website to be special, so… enjoy it!!!

Well, maybe it’s not that different… there are some common features: we all love having FIESTA but also SIESTA.
There is a saying which describe us perfectly:
No vivimos para trabajar, trabajamos para poder vivir bien.
“Rather than living for working, we just work because we need the money to live”.

I love learning languages and I always use songs! That’s why sometimes I recommend you songs in Spanish!
3. Cultural heritage 📷
Spain is beautiful. As simple as that.
It is the fourth country with the most World Heritage Sites. There is really nothing more to be said.
In the last years I’ve lived most of the time abroad (the UK, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland…) but I managed to record a couple of videos where I show you some cities in Spain like Córdoba!
4. Food 🥘
Many people thing Spanish food is only about ‘tacos’. If only they knew it is a Mexican dish… But hey, no problem! It’s their loss.
Croquetas, paella, empanadas, cocido… Does any of these dishes ring a bell? Don’t worry, food is a recurrent topic in my videos and Newsletter!
5. Spaniards are nice!
We smile most of the time, we have the highest life expectancy rate, our country is one of the less depressed in Europe and we are the world leaders in organ transplants !🩺❤️🏥
I am happy I grew up in Spain. As I’ve already said… we are happy and caring!
When I was 20 I moved to Germany… 🙁 The atmosphere was... meah, plain, simple! Don’t get me wrong, I met incredible people and I had a really good time, specially during spring and summer, but winter was tough 🥶
All in all, living abroad helped me realize the weather may change our mood, and Spain has 300 days of annual sunshine 😎.
Sure, there are many things I don’t like about my country, but let’s leave it for another day!!! (or not… you can always check this video!)
